Excellence in teeth replacement for the Chester and Wrexham area

Why choose Cambria Dental Implants?

Dental implants are often the treatment of choice when one or more teeth are missing. Implants are the closest thing to having natural teeth. Dental implants maybe the solution if any of the following relate to you:

"I can’t eat the foods I like…"

Strong teeth allow us the freedom to eat the food we love. For some that may be a juicy steak, for others it may be a crunchy apple. Poorly functioning teeth often mean a restricted diet, limiting food choices to ‘soft’ options.

"I hate wearing my dentures…"

Ill-fitting dentures can cause pain and discomfort on a daily basis. Some people feel embarrassed about wearing their denture and feel their confidence is undermined. As dental implants are permanently fixed into the jawbone they feel like natural teeth and are not reliant on the gum to hold them in place.

"I’m embarrassed about my gaps when I smile or speak…"

Missing teeth can have a negative effect on the appearance of your smile. If you feel embarrassed about the way your teeth look it can affect how easily you smile and can lead to a loss of confidence. Teeth form part of an attractive smile which, in turn, boosts confidence levels.

What is a dental implant?

A dental implant is a titanium screw that is placed in the bone in your jaw, onto which a porcelain crown, bridge or implant denture is attached. This makes it possible to permanently replace missing teeth without affecting the adjacent teeth.

How long do dental implants last?

They can last a lifetime if looked after properly. Excellent oral hygiene is required to prolong the life of your implant and stopping smoking is advisable.

Will it hurt?

We take great care to make your implant treatment comfortable. Anaesthesia is used to ensure the implant site is completely numb during placement. After the procedure you may experience some discomfort and swelling as the anaesthesia wears off but this can be managed with painkillers.

Why choose Cambria Dental Implant clinic?

We only use quality implants which have years of clinical research to support their use. Dr Hewitt is a highly trained and skilful implant dentist having undergone his training at the Royal College of Surgeons (RCS) alongside some of Europe’s most respected Implantologists.

Our Service

We genuinely believe that implants can offer the best, long term solution to replace missing teeth.

However, we also believe that healthy, natural teeth should be preserved whenever possible, and we always work with patients to try and keep the healthy teeth they have. We only recommend implant therapy when it is not possible to retain natural teeth. Our hygiene services form an integral part of our treatment plan to help keep implants and natural teeth as healthy as possible.
