At Cambria Dental Practice we specialise in cosmetic dentistry that is kind to teeth. Dr Hewitt’s approach to cosmetic dentistry is that the long term health of teeth should remain the top priority. We offer a wide range of cosmetic treatments ranging from simple cosmetic bonding to close a gap or improve the shape of a tooth, through to more complex work involving orthodontics, implants or bridges. Whatever the treatment, when it comes to cosmetic work we will always strive to offer the least invasive options whilst still achieving the fantastic, natural looking smile you want.
We are strong advocates of the ABB (Align, Bleach and Bonding) approach to smile makeovers where possible. In recent years it has been popular to use multiple veneers to provide a winning smile and while this is still appropriate in some cases, the ABB approach is the most conservative method of achieving a fantastic smile. First the Inman aligner/clear aligners are used to bring the teeth into correct position, the teeth are then whitened and finally composite bonding (tooth coloured filling) is used to shape and correct teeth edges. The result is that your own teeth are transformed into a beautiful, natural looking smile without the need for drilling.
