Having the Inman Aligner to straighten my upper front teeth, which I have been embarrassed about for over thirty years, has had a hugely positive effect on me. “I was originally given a tooth guard to wear at night to stop my teeth grinding. This in turn would the stop pain I was experiencing in my jaw and neck. Although the guard took a couple of weeks to get used to- I quickly noticed a reduction in the pain in my jaw and neck. At the same time I was undergoing tests via the rheumatologist for pain in my shoulders, elbows and wrists. Over a period of a few months these pains disappeared, this was without any treatment. I could only presume this was due to the mouth guard. I discussed this with the rheumatologist who agreed this was likely the case. I was amazed that teeth grinding could cause such extensive pain, but delighted that it could be sorted so easily without the need for medication. I would definitely recommend this as a solution if teeth grinding/ pain is a problem, it is not an exaggeration to say it has made a huge difference to my everyday life and function.”
