We are a small team who work very closely together to provide you with a personal and professional service.
All of our team members are fully qualified in their role and have a variety of additional skills to ensure we can offer you a wide range of dental treatments.
The team

Fraser Hewitt BDS(Glas) DipImpDent RCS(Eng) (GDC 74986)
Principal Dentist
Fraser graduated from Glasgow Dental School in 1998 and has worked in various practices throughout the UK gaining experience in all areas of dentistry. Since taking over Cambria Dental Practice in 2007 he has invested heavily in new treatments and technology to ensure patients can access the best dental treatments in a safe and welcoming environment. Especially popular with nervous patients, Fraser takes the time to understand his patients needs and help ease any anxieties.
Fraser has a special interest in dental implants and has been offering this treatment since 2008. He has been trained by some of the world’s leading implantologists and has gained the Implant Diploma from the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons (RCS) London. This is considered the gold standard in implant training and ensures patients can expect the highest possible standards of care when undergoing dental implant therapy at Cambria Dental Practice.
As an experienced cosmetic dentist Fraser offers a range of cosmetic treatments including adult orthodontics. He is a certified provider of Invisalign, and Quick Straight Teeth.
Outside of work Fraser enjoys keeping busy with family life. He is a keen tennis player and enjoys running to keep fit.

Mark Jones BDS MClinDent (Kings) (GDC 73431)
Associate Dentist
Mark Jones qualified from Liverpool dental hospital in 1997 and has worked in private practice for many years. Since joining Cambria Dental Practice in 2014 he has proven to be popular with patients who appreciate his calming manner and his attention to detail in his work. With a keen interest in cosmetic and restorative dentistry he achieved a Masters degree in Fixed and Removable prosthodontics at King’s College London incorporating all cosmetic and restorative procedures. He has a special interest in composite bonding and is also a recognised provider of Invisalign and Quick Straight Teeth orthodontic systems.
Outside of work Mark is a keen cyclist and regularly plays 5-a-side football. He enjoys family time with his young child and dog Archie.

Kay Hampson (GDC 5104)
Dental Hygienist/Therapist
Kay is an experienced Dental Hygienist/Therapist who joined the team in 2021. She provides first class hygiene and periodontal treatments to achieve improved dental health for our patients. Patients love her calming nature and gentle approach to all things periodontal.

Ceri Allen (GDC 247579)
Practice Manager/Receptionist
Ceri is likely to be one of the smiling faces who greets you when you visit the practice or when you speak to us on the phone. She is often the person looking after you in reception and making sure that your experience with us is a positive one.
As our practice manager she oversees the smooth running of the practice which ensures everyone else is able to concentrate on what they do best. If you have any queries, concerns or suggestions Ceri would be delighted to hear from you.
Outside work Ceri is a busy mum, confirmed dog lover and fitness bunny, Ceri has also been known to bake delicious cakes when she feels like treating us.
Sarah Thompson (GDC 166491
Receptionist/Treatment Co-ordinator
Sarah joined Cambria in 2017 having qualified as a dental nurse in 2002. She has worked a various practices throughout the UK including a dental implant clinic and the prison dental service. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is an invaluable member of our reception team where she enjoys welcoming patients and organising treatment.
More recently Sarah has taken on the role of Treatment Co-ordinator which allows her to use her knowledge to ensure patients enjoy a smooth dental journey at Cambria.
Outside of dentistry Sarah enjoys family life and loves nothing more than escaping in the great outdoors with skiing being a particular fave!

Shelley Ellis (GDC 173595)
Lead Dental Nurse
Shelley joined Cambria in 2006 as a trainee dental nurse and has been an integral member of the team ever since. She takes pride in maintaining high clinical standards and has a special interest in dental implants and orthodontics. She will look after you during your visits and will help to put you at ease should you be feeling anxious.
Out of work Shelley is our very own Dr Doolittle and spends most of her spare time looking after her horses, dogs and various other animals. She also enjoys keeping fit and being out and about with friends and family.
Amy Dunn (GDC 258175)
Dental Nurse
Ami is an experienced dental nurse and a popular member of the team. She enjoys many aspects of her clinical work with a particular interest in composite bonding.
When not working she is kept busy with her 2 young children and loves foreign travel – Greece is a particular favourite!

Jo Hewitt
Business Manager
Jo’s main responsibility is looking after the business development side of things and ensures that Cambria Dental remains a forward thinking practice.
A qualified Speech and Language Therapist by background she enjoys every opportunity to meet patients and is happy to discuss any aspect of your dental experience. When not at work Jo is kept busy running after her three children, but also enjoys yoga, travel and food.
