Fraser Hewitt GDC 74986 - Principal Dentist
Fraser Hewitt graduated from Glasgow Dental School in 1998 and has worked in various practices throughout the UK gaining experience in all areas of dentistry. He has a special interest in minimally invasive dentistry including dental implants and is an experienced Inman Aligner provider. He regularly attends a range of specialised courses to ensure that his skills are truly reflective of the best that modern dentistry can offer. Fraser is a firm advocate that today’s dental care should be pain free and he enjoys helping patients overcome their often long standing anxieties about visiting the dentist. He lives near Chester with his wife and young twins. When not working he enjoys time away with his family and is a keen tennis player.
Samantha Griffiths-Hughes GDC 136610 - Dental Therapist/Hygienist
Samantha graduated from Liverpool University with a Combined Diploma in Dental Hygiene/Therapy. She has a gentle and calm manner and advocates our practice ethos of providing pain free dental care. Her friendly and reassuring approach helps to put even the most nervous of patients at their ease. Working alongside Fraser, Samantha performs a range of hygiene and routine dental treatments for adults and children. Away from work Samantha is a bit of a fitness bunny who also enjoys going to the cinema or relaxing with a good read.
Grace Williams GDC 151002 - Clinical Assistant
Grace will probably be your first point of contact with the practice. With her caring disposition she will offer you a warm welcome and answer any queries you may have. As a fully qualified dental nurse, Grace also assists Fraser and Catherine in providing your clinical care. She routinely undertakes additional training in order to further develop her skills and maintain adherence to GDC (General Dental Council) standards. When away from work Grace enjoys creative cake making and days out by the sea with her partner. A recent addition to her family is an adorable Persian cat by the name of Red.
Shelley Ellis GDC 173595 - Clinical Assistant
Shelley joined the team in 2006 and is a fully qualified dental nurse. Her main role is to support Fraser and Catherine in providing your clinical care. She will look after you during your visits and will help to put you at ease should you be feeling anxious. She has an interest in dental implants and is currently working to develop her role in this area. Out of work Shelley is our very own Dr Doolittle and spends most of her spare time looking after her horse and various other animals. She also enjoys keeping fit and being out and about with friends and family.
Jo Hewitt - Practice Manager
Jo’s main responsibility is to oversee the smooth running of the practice and to ensure that everyone else is able to concentrate on doing what they do best! Married to Fraser she looks after the business development side of things and ensures that Cambria Dental remains a forward thinking practice. A qualified Speech and Language Therapist by background she enjoys every opportunity to meet patients and is happy to discuss any aspect of your dental experience. When not at work Jo is kept busy running after the twins who keep life interesting, but also enjoys travel and food (cooking and eating!).
Sanjay Narda - Implantologist
Implant dentist Dr. Sanjay Narda qualified with Honours from the University of Leeds and received a Distinction in Dental Public Health. This was followed by a further year of post-graduate training at Oxford University. He obtained a Fellowship from the International Congress of Oral Implantology in 2002 and a Diploma in Restorative Dental Practice from the Eastman Dental Institute in 2007. He is now the Clinical Director of the Bank House Dental Centre in Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire and travels around the UK mentoring dentists in the field of implantology. He lives in Buckinghamshire with his wife and 2 young daughters.
